Allen Brodnick Allen Brodnick, P.T., Cert. M.D.T.

Al is the owner and director of Bethesda Physical Therapy. He received his physical therapy degree from the University of Maryland (at Baltimore) in 1984. Over the last 30-plus years, he has worked in a variety of settings, including as director of a chronic pain/work hardening center and an orthopedics and sports medicine facility. In 2003, he became certified as a McKenzie-trained therapist, earning his diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy.

In 1990, Al opened his first successful practice in Bethesda and, after six years, joined a national physical therapy corporation where he continued to practice and direct his original Bethesda clinic. Over the course of 10 years, he rose to the position of Group Director and eventually was responsible for eight other area clinics. Al left the corporate setting in late 2004 as he wanted to re-establish an independent, patient-centered practice.

A keen golfer himself, Al is TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) Certified as a Golf Fitness Instructor. He is also an FMS (Functional Movement Systems) certified exercise professional.

Robert Robert Rogacki, D.P.T.

Rob graduated from the University of Michigan in 2010 with a Bachelors of Science in movement science. He went on to George Washington University and graduated with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2013. Rob is particularly interested in manual therapy and sports injuries. He has experience in treating professional athletes from the NFL, MLB, NBA, and Olympics. Rob lives in Washington DC and in his free time, enjoys playing sports and spending ti me with friends.

Katerina Katerina Vlckova, M.S.P.T

Katka graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park as an Animal Sciences major in 2003. She earned her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from George Washington University in 2007. Katka has a particular interest in the Maitland-Australian Approach to modern manual therapy, a highly effective, gentle approach to the management of neuromuskuloskeletal conditions. Katka speaks English, Czech, Slovak, and Polish, and can understand Russian, Ukrainian, and Spanish. Katka lives in Bethesda with her husband and two daughters and in her spare time, enjoys biking, kickboxing, and reading.

Morgane graduated from the University of Virginia in 2012 with her Bachelors degree in Biology. During her time there she competed in Cross Country, indoor, and outdoor track and field. She went on to graduate from George Washington University in 2015 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She began her physical therapy career working at George Washington University Hospital, where she treated patients with a variety of acute orthopedic, neurological, cardiac, and vascular conditions. She has developed an interest in sports and orthopedic injuries. She also enjoys working with older adults to maximize their ability to perform activities of daily living and reduce their risk for falls. Morgane lives in North Bethesda, and in her spare time she likes to go on hikes and travel with her fiancé.

Tamika Hardy, D.P.T, O.C.S, A.T.C

Tamika received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training in 2008 from Weber State University located in Ogden, Utah. She then continued her postgraduate education at the University of Utah; where Tamika received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in May of 2013. She went on to receive her Clinical Orthopaedic Specialist Certification in 2016. She is also an FMS (Functional Movement Systems) certified exercise professional. Tamika has been working in an outpatient orthopaedic clinic since October 2013. She believes in staying physically active, utilizing exercise for wellness and fitness, and empowering her patients to take control of their health via physical therapy. She strongly believes in physical therapy being a key component in a person’s overall wellbeing and can be of use by all individuals. Tamika dabbles in running half marathons; her most recent feats are the Nike Women’s and Frederick Half Marathons and C&O canal Towpath in Washington DC. Tamika has participated in other team running events such as Ragnar in Utah and California. She also stays fit by incorporating different components of powerlifting, bodybuilding, and physical therapy techniques in her weekly routine. Tamika hopes her personal lifestyle will inspire others to become and stay physically active and help people achieve their goals at any age.

Olivia Seeley, D.P.T.

Olivia graduated from Emory University in 2012 with her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Linguistics. During her time there, she played club soccer and boxed. She went on to graduate from George Washington University in 2015 with her Doctrate in Physical Therapy. She began her physical therapy career working at the National Rehab Hospital treating patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions as well as patients with post-concussion syndrome. Olivia enjoys treating orthopedic patients utilizing a variety of techniques including the Selective Functional Movement Assessment and Functional Dry needling.

Shari Cantor Shari Cantor, M.P.T.

Shari graduated with a B.S. from Emory University in Atlanta , GA and received her Master’s degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Shari has spent most of her career working in Boston, MA in outpatient orthopedics. In late 2006, Shari was happy to return to work in her hometown, Bethesda, with her husband shortly before starting her family. Shari likes to work with prenatal and post-partum women and very much enjoys helping her patients return to their desired level of activity. Shari loves any outdoor activity appropriate for the season!

Wendie graduated from the Physical Therapist Assistant Program at Northern Virginia Community College in 1995. She has been practicing in rehabilitation and outpatient orthopedic settings since then.

 

Larisa BraginskayaLarisa Braginskaya, P.T. Aide

Larisa hails from the Ukraine and has been in the U.S. since 1997. She comes with a background of physical therapy, and is a vital part of our clinic.

 

 

Geetha OoiGeetha Ooi, Office Manager

Geetha graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree and worked as a research officer in Malaysia. She has moved internationally on several postings with her husband’s job. Geetha can greet patients in 10 languages!

 

Marilyn WormanMarilyn Woorman, Front Desk Coordinator

After her son was discharged from his treatment with Bethesda Physical Therapy, Marilyn stayed! As our Front Desk Coordinator, she brings a mix of compassion and energy to our clinic. Raised on the eastern shore, Marilyn has lived with her husband and children in Montgomery County since the 1980s.

Michelle ScarlettMichelle Scarlett, Front Desk Coordinator & Billing Specialist

Michelle graduated from the Jamaica Institute of Business Careers with a Certified Administrative Professional Certification. Michelle earned her degree in Psychology from UMUC, while working full time at Bethesda Physical Therapy. Experienced in the Service and Hospitality Industry, she brings Caribbean flair to her responsibilities of billing and the Front Desk.

Ayla Mori Ramos, P.T. Aide

Ayla graduated from Carson Newman College with a degree in chemistry in TN. She aspires to teach high school chemistry. She loves working with the variety of people that she has contact with each day.

 

Ja ne Best, P.T. Aide

Ja-Ne graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2013 with a Bachelors of Science in exercise science. Her fascination with the human body and interest in sports rehabilitation has led her to persue a career in physical therapy. In the near future Ja-Ne will enroll in a Doctor of Physical Therapy program in order to make this dream come true! She lives in Largo, Maryland and enjoys singing in several groups, playing sports, and spending time with her friends and family.

Wendy was born in Silver Spring , MD at Holy Cross Hospital and grew up in the Kensington area. Wendy attended Albert Einstein and graduated in 2004. She attended TESST College of Technology where she received a certificate for medical assistant. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and enjoys spending her free time with her two daughters.
